But, I want to spring for the Geforce GTX 1080, but there is no way in hell I can afford that. So, my question is, if I buy the Geforce GTX 1060, can I run 4k on just ONE monitor? I have to run 4k as I am a graphic artist and I do make tons of videos. I will only be using one monitor, not two. I could wait and keep saving, but that is not
I use it as a pc monitor in native 4K-120hz, then in the game I change it to 1440p if it’s necessary. It still looks great and remember that also the new consoles aren’t capable to run native 4K, they just scale up and down 1440p to 4K as a dynamic resolution. You won’t miss things much in 1440p, but of course it’s more sharp in it.
With one TB4 running the WD22TB4 and the 3 monitors I bought an additional USBC to HDMI adapter hoping I could do at least 3, 4k60hz (2 through WD, 1 through usbc to HDMI directly on the 2nd TB4 on the tablet) with the 4th at maybe 30hz. But for whatever reason when I connect all 4 monitors the best I can do currently is 2 4k60, and 2 1440,60hz
For gaming PCs targeting 4K at 120Hz, DisplayPort 1.4 can handle it well, although you’ll need to use HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 2.0/2.1 if you want to run games at anything higher. For the highest resolutions and refresh rates, DisplayPort 2.0 cables are a must, as they unlock the option for up to 16K resolution, or even 8K at 120Hz, which is
4K monitors have four times the number of pixels of the standard 1080p monitor for extremely high-definition images and realistic graphics in all your favourite games, films, and television shows. With the larger screen resolution, 4K monitors allow you to see details you’ve never seen before and make your games more realistic and immersive.
1440p is where its at for sure. We don't have the GPU horsepower to drive high fps at 4k yet in my opinion. 1440p however is a different story, you get the benefit of much more clarity over 1080 while still being able to run really good frame rates. 1.1K. BigBeardRodriguez.
Hi, can someone tell me if you can run this setup? I have (3) G70 Samsung 4k (not 2k) monitors and can not run all at 144hz simulataneously (DP 1.4). I can only run 2 and the other one blacks out. However, I can run all three at 60hz at 4k or I can run (1) at 4k and the other (2) a
