Open comment sort options. I'm trying to use KDE connect in windows 11 but the widget doesn't show any options and just opens the main program. Windows is like that, yeah. The main program on my PC only gives me 5 options (find device, share file, presentation remote and multimedia control and I can't find the other options. Yes.That being said -- KDE connect is incredible, and I love it. I'm frankly shocked Apple hasn't made something similar for OS X/iOS. Except, I can believe it, because Apple hasn't had a single meaningful innovation since Steve Jobs died. The name KDE was intended as a wordplay on the existing Common Desktop Environment, available for Unix systems. CDE was an X11-based user environment jointly developed by HP, IBM, and Sun through the X/Open consortium, with an interface and productivity tools based on the Motif graphical widget toolkit. It would help to know more about your system setup. If you run " inxi -Fxzd " and " lsusb " from the console terminal prompt, highlight the results, copy and paste them back here, that should provide enough information. I have KDE Connect working well in both my Linux Mint Cinnamon v20 and KDE Neon.
I'm not sure how to block it, but kdeconnectd is a daemon of KDE Connect, a program used to communicate between a Linux computer and an Android smartphone on your local network. If you don't use KDE Connect, you might as well remove it.
