In some older version in D2:LOD you could have 3 or 4 sockets on a blue colossus blade for example… I wish they would bring it back! Having a blue (eth) Berserker Axe or Colossus Blade with Cruel (prefix) and Quickness (suffix) with 4 open sockets could have up to 500% ED with 4 Ohm Runes socketed and finally compete with those overpowered runewords.
